MANOEUVERING AND CHANGING VALUES

1) After turning on your DROID-3, you can start going through the menus by rotating the dial. Rotate it clockwise to go to the next menu - and counter clockwise to go to the previous one.

2) Find e.g. the FLTR menu and press one of the grey ENTER buttons to select it. An underline cursor appears under the '=' in by the first (top right) parameter ('Typ' in the FLTR menu). Note that the BITS menu is different from the other menus - read about this in the 'Parameter list' in the 'Programming' section.

3) You can now select which parameter you want to change by rotating the dial. The cursor will move back and forth between the parameters in the menu. To go back and select another menu just press one of the black ESCAPE buttons - this takes you to point 2).

4) When you have chosen a parameter press one of the ENTER buttons to change it. Now the cursor flashes and you can use the dial to set a value or in some cases a controller for the parameter. Rotating it clockwise will increase the value - counter clock wise will decrease it. For a description of each parameter see the 'Parameter list' in the 'Supplementary materials' section.

5) To accept the change you have just made press ENTER. To undo it press ESCAPE. Both actions will take you to point 3).
